Synopsis: Two cockney siblings lead the residents of a quiet retirement community in a bloody war against the walking dead in this horror comedy from director Matthias Hoene. Andy (Harry Treadaway) and Terry (Rasmus Hardiker) were in the midst of robbing a bank to save the rest home where their grandfather lives when the zombie apocalypse struck East London. After arriving at the nursing home heavily armed and with cash in tow, the two brothers prepare to fight their way out with the assistance of some trigger-happy seniors. Michelle Ryan and Honor Blackman co-star.

The Good:
I love zombies. Running zombies, slow walking zombies, zombies with guns, zombies in love…I just dig zombies. So a zombie flick where a big chunk of it is spent focusing on a bunch of octogenarians doing battle with the undead in a nursing home is right up my alley.

The Bad:
The non-elderly characters were a mixed bag of dull and annoying and the budget for this was so low that sometimes the zombies looked like regular people out for Halloween.

The Ugly:
Not enough Honor Blackman shooting a machine gun to satisfy me.

Final Verdict: Cockneys vs Zombies is a fun little romp that is like the low-budget cousin of the awesome Shaun of the Dead. B-
