I think that Sly and Arnold need to make a solemn vow to only star in movies together until they are too old to walk on set under their own steam. They could be a more muscular, less funny and extremely violent Lewis & Martin. It is such a no-brainer since their team up in THE EXPENDABLES movies were box office gold while their two tries at solo movies were underwhelming to say the least. Maybe they could even start combining their franchises…Rambo vs Terminator would be pretty cool, dontcha think?
As far as ESCAPE PLAN goes, it looks like it will be a fun-filled nostalgic romp with the two 80s action heavyweights playing up their advanced ages while trading on their familiar character archetypes. I’m sure I will enjoy this movie for what it is.
