The Good:
This movie has a very winning cast. It is chock full of actors whose work I am a fan of and who I consider to be very skilled at their craft. Now what this film chose to do with all of this talent is a whole different conversation.

The Bad:
Sadly, this film chose to waste all of the talent assembled for this movie. It basically devolved into a endless cycle of internal squabbling, lots of running and all of these fine actors struggling mightily to act like they are scared of the green screen bear.
And poor Adam Beach doesn’t even get that because it seems like his character, who was set up as an important player in this movie, ended up having most of his scenes cut. Maybe his part was bigger when the movie was called RED MACHINE, or when it was changed to RED MACHINE: HUNT OR BE HUNTED, or maybe when it was changed again to ENDANGERED. Yep this movie needed this many tries before the idea of naming a film about a man-eating grizzly bear, GRIZZLY was decided upon.

The Ugly
Watching a 600 pound grizzly bear use his awesome ninja skills to sneak up on people was so ridiculous. Don’t believe me? Check out the Ninja Bear in action:

It was almost like Piper Perabo’s character was not the only deaf person in this movie.

Final Verdict: This was such a silly movie. I am sure that the idea of “Jaws with a grizzly bear” sounded like a swell idea when the writers were high on weed and mainlining Doritos but when put on film it just results in a crappy schlocky horror movie that wastes a cast that was waaay too good for it to begin with.
