I was a fan of Seth Grahame-Smith’s novel and have been wondering why the long ago announced film adaptation was taking so long but the wait is over! The first trailer for PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES is here and it looks pretty freaking stylish with lots of 19th Century English lasses kicking undead butt. While that automatically grabs my attention I do have to admit to being a bit trepidatious just because I was pretty excited for the release of ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER too and came away from that film being seriously disappointed. So hopefully PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES can retain some of Graham-Smith’s wit while also providing well done zombie survival horror. I am going to stay cautiously optimistic.
