Playing the sweet transvestite from transsexual Transylvania is still the role that Curry is best known for and it was also his entree into the public consciousness. Only curry could pull of this role from a goofily campy mess of a movie like Rocky Horror. And he did it in garters and heels to boot.

    1. He made an appearance at the Tony Awards a few weeks ago. It was nice to see him out and about but sad to see that he was in much worse shape than had been reported.
