The inaugural post of the Cool Collabos segment of this blog features a duet by two music powerhouses from entirely different musical universe’s: James Brown (who died six years ago on Christmas day) and Luciano Pavarotti. There was no reason that a combining of the voices of The Godfather of Soul and the Cavaliere di Gran Croce should have created such a powerful and downright cool version of Brown’s “It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World” but it is damn cool and very quickly became my favorite rendition of this song.
