The Good:
This movie has so much awesome in it that I don’t know where to start. The storyline that draws inspiration from works like BRAVE NEW WORLD, THE MATRIX, METROPOLIS, THE LORD OF THE RINGS and 1984 while still keeping things light enough to entertain all ages.
The design of the film is also a major plus with every aspect of the film’s world conforming to the physical limitations of actual Lego’s all the way down to the way water comes out of a shower-head.
The voice-acting is also stellar with the most notable being Morgan Freeman, Will Ferrell, Liam Neeson and Will Arnett as my new favorite big screen depiction of Batman.

The Bad:
I honestly can’t think of anything bad to say about this movie. Maybe that I wish it had been longer?

The Ugly
Having the “Everything Is Awesome” song stuck in my head for the past 4 days.

Final Verdict: A great movie that provides all of the loud, eye-catching stuff necessary to entertain kids while still being smart enough to entertain adults too. A more fun time at the theater I cannot remember having. You are guaranteed to have a goofy smile plastered on your face for the entire running time of THE LEGO MOVIE.

Great review, loved this film. The cast the story where great and the ending was surprisingly deep. Chris Pratt is going to have a very promising career 😀

Glad to see you liked it too. And I agree that Pratt’s career is about to blow up in a major way. Selfishly I am glad it’s happening as Parks & recreation is winding down its times on the air so the timing is just perfect.

Really glad he’s doing well after Parks, love him in that 😀
