The Prime Suspects In The Righteous Regicide of Joffrey Baratheon

Joffrey’s Fool had plenty of reasons to want the boy king dead but would he really have the balls or access to pull it off? Nah, Dontos is more of a puppet than a mastermind. The question is just who is he working for and what do they want with Sansa?

  1. Not a spoiler since we just saw it: If i reemmber correctly, there was zero mention of Theon in Storm of Swords, it wasn’t until the later books (not sure if it was feast or dragons) that you get introduced to some character named Reek and learn later on that it’s Theon. Same deal with Asha, no mention of her at all in the book. I thought it was a cool drop for the book nerds to end off with Ramsay coming up with Reek

    1. I have to admit to enjoying the liberties the show has taken with the books…I am not that big of a hardliner when it comes to adaptations I guess.
And Martin had a bit of a penchant for taking characters we know and having them function under aliases for long stretches without letting the readers in on just who they really were. That definitely wouldn’t work as well on TV.
