Synopsis: ZOMBEAVERS is an action-packed horror/comedy in which a group of college kids staying at a riverside cabin are menaced by a swarm of deadly zombie beavers. A weekend of sex and debauchery soon turns gruesome as the beavers close in on the kids. Riding the line between scary, sexy and funny, the kids are soon fighting for their lives in a desperate attempt to fend off the hoard of beavers that attack them in and around their cabin. – (Source)

The Good:
This movie is just pure silly fun. From the checking off of horror movie tropes to the hilarious circumstances that cause the zombie beaver outbreak to the chintzy look of the actual zombie beavers…everything is done with so much goofy charm that you just have to like it.
And this movie has a pretty jazzy theme song.

The Bad:
Some of the effects are pretty bad and even though I found some charm to the little zombie beaver puppets that looked as if they cost $14 to make, the practical make-up effects of the zombie/beaver/human hybrids were a bit on the dodgy side.

The Ugly:
You definitely do not want to have sex during a zombie beaver attack. it will not end well for you.

Final Verdict:A low-budget comedy/horror film that is just as much goofy fun as the outrageous title and premise would have you expect. If you go into watching ZOMBEAVERS with the correct mindset then you will enjoy it.

Grade: B-

      1. Cool. I wanna see this one. It’s always good to see a genre laugh at itself within the confines of its own genre. Did that make sense?
