The Good:
I loved how nearly every moment of this movie was ramped up and things seemed to happen at breakneck speed. The way the world went from perfectly normal to zombie filled Road Warrior world was great.
Also the cast were all really good and appealing. You immediately like all of the survivor characters and want to see them all make it out alive.
This movie also has one of the more original takes on zombies that I have seen and I have watched a lot of zombie movies.
The Bad:
It would have been nice to get a few more answers about the cause of the zombie outbreak and the shadowy organization preying on the survivors. There were moments when it seemed like we were going to be given that info but then the film would pull back.
The Ugly:
There is a mad scientist in this movie that is just a overly campy, goofy mess. A little less cheese and a bit more serious menace would have been a huge improvement.
Final Verdict: A high-octane gore fest with just the right amount of humor to temper the horror. A very fitting addition to the annals of zombie comedy/horror and well worth the view.
