The Daily Nerdgasm: Remember Amalgam Comics?

Remember when Marvel Comics and DC Comics had their big MARVEL VS DC crossover event that led into the combined universe of AMALGAM COMICS? I enjoyed those books and it seems like a million years ago that the two comic companies had a good enough relationship that they would actually work together to put out such a massive joint effort.
Well, artist Eric Guzman remembers and at his DeviantArt page he has done some really cool amalgamations of DC/Marvel characters. Click onward to see some of the ones I liked best.

Ever wanted to see a live action battle between Batman and Captain America? Well if you are as big a nerd as I am you have been wanting to see such a battle for ages.
Now DC and Marvel (or WB and Disney) will never give the people want they want so we will just have to get our geek curiosity satisfied through fan made vids like the one by Ultimate Fan Fights that’s under the cut.
