Game of Thrones Scene of the Week: Down Goes Yoren

Poor, Yoren…he puts himself out there to protect a couple of wayward children of dead men (in Gendry and Arya) and what does he get for his troubles? Shot with a crossbow and skewered by a broad sword. It doesn’t pay to be nice in Westeros. I’m gonna miss the crusty old soldier. he was good for some seriously funny lines and how he dealt with everyone in the same gruff manner was always something I looked forward to on GoT.

It is almost April but Winter is coming!!! The second season of HBO’s GAME OF THRONES debuts on April 1st and I am more excited than a little kid on Christmas Eve. I love this dense, morally gray series and have been jonesing for new episodes since two seconds after the first season ended. With that in mind I thought I’d put together a list of characters that went to the Other Side during Season One.
