THE WALKING DEAD is back to finish off this eighth season of unbridled mediocrity that the soon to be departed showrunner Scott Gimple vomited out for an unsuspecting TV audience. When last we left our group of zombie apocalypse survivors things had really gotten awful: their homes have been destroyed, The Saviors are on the attack and Carl revealed that he had been bitten by a walker. Can things possibly get any worse? My guess is yes.
Radio Gunk presents another episode of Fantastic Fourplay.
Today the gang talks a bit about Spiderman Homecoming (in which we learn the Fourplayers don’t understand the concept of 15 minutes) and then jump into the everyone’s favorite topic, Hate.
This time we hate on remakes that we feel are terrible. We also find out some of us have poor taste in movies and actually like some of the more critically panned remakes of recent.
Sit back and relax while listening to 2 hours of 4 people who know a lot less than they think they do.
It has been 2 years since the last time I wrote about my hate-watching habit and try as I might I still can’t seem to get this monkey off my back. Sure most of the shows I was hate-watching have mercifully gone to the TV show graveyard in the sky yet other shows have popped up to fill that hole in my soul that only a good hate-watch can satisfy.
Admitting one has a problem is the first step to getting better, right? Anyway hate-watching is different from watching a show you hate because there is a part of you that wants to like the show despite all of its flaws. Hate-watching is also not like guilty pleasure watching because a guilty pleasure TV show is one that you love but are just ashamed to admit to enjoying. Nope, hate-watching is in its own special category and is horribly addictive.
