This is the “go home” show before the next RAW PPV, Fastlane so matches to fill out the card got announced and the Goldberg vs Kevin Owens title match got a bit more shine. And since we are still on the Road to Wrestlemania we got a bunch of angles advanced on that front too. But the biggest story of the night was the fans of Green Bay WI cementing their place as the absolute worst WWE crowd of 2017 so far. Way to go, cheeseheads! But they fit right in on what was a pretty terrible episode of Raw.
While most people are still reeling from Kevin Owens betraying Chris Jericho or still ecstatic that Bayley is the new Women’s champ, I only care about one thing with this episode of Raw: watching Braun Strowman and The Big Show go at it one-on-one. Will the Immovable Object beat the Unstoppable Force?
Charlotte Flair and Bayley are the main event in a Women’s title match that could see their feud come to a definite end and the bestest friends in pro wrestling, Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho, will be celebrating their bromance in front of the world. On top of that we are all waiting to see Michael Cole will be unlucky in Sin City during his one-on-one interview with the always surly Samoa Joe.
Samoa Joe has already broken one young WWE superstar as his attack on Seth Rollins has put Seth on the shelf for a while, and now he has his sights on the rest of the roster. Who is Joe gonna kill next? My money is on Roman Reigns.
Its the Raw after the Royal Rumble PPV! Yeah! This is usually when a wrestling show will kick-off new storylines and feuds since all of the old stories should have either reached a conclusion at the PPV or had something so major happen that stories have changed in some way. So what are the odds that pretty much nothing has changed with our favorite Raw wrestlers and the Raw writers gave us not much new and exciting? Hmmm?

The last Raw before the Royal Rumble so the expectation is that the WWE would deliver an action-packed show that would whet the appetite of fans for the Rumble PPV. Maybe a couple more entrants are named, possibly a new match or two…just about anything exciting. And if your idea of exciting is two 50 year olds in a stare down with a man who could probably cripple them both without breaking a sweat then this was the Raw for you!
Another Monday Night Raw has passed and like most weeks there is some good, some bad and man oh man is there some ugly. And with this being a Raw that aired on MLK Day the ugly was more bothersome to me than usual. But that doesn’t mean things were all bad. This show had some highlights that really worked so click onward and see what was what for this week’s 3 hour marathon of grown men rolling around on top of one another in their underpants.
