Decorated Vietnam hero Frank Vega returns home only to get shunned by society leaving him without a job or his high school sweetheart. It’s not until forty years later when an incident on a commuter bus (where he protects an elderly black man from a pair of skin heads) makes him a local hero where he’s suddenly celebrated once again. But his good fortune suddenly turns for the worse when his best friend Klondike is murdered and the police aren’t doing anything about it. – IMDB
The movie the world has been waiting for ever since we collectively watched the YouTube video of a mentally frazzled Vietnam vet open a can of whoop ass on a douchebag with too much mouth. I seriously hope the producers of this movie have compensated the real Epic Beard Man (which is what this movie should be called) for the use of his likeness/story because I would have to see Danny Trejo get mollywhomped for his impunity.
And I wonder if Amber Lamps the Headphone Girl is going to be represented in the film too? Maybe she’ll be Trejo’s love interest.
