Okay…those beginnings of the zombie apocalypse scenes looked intense and the idea of a tidal wave of zombies is an intriguing one and looks pretty cool from this trailer. But I am admittedly not the biggest fan of the high speed running zombies and a swarm of zombies seems like overkill plus the CG effects look a bit too much like the effects from the disappointing I Am Legend for my liking.
Hopefully all of these things will blend together to make a decent movie but I am not too psyched up from just this trailer especially since the film is making such a huge leap away from the (extremely good) book it is based on.

I agree about the overly-speedy zombies, but I guess it’ll depend on how the film is executed. Just the fact that I saw stuff in this trailer that I’ve never seen before in terms of effects, though, makes me all giddy, lol. I’ll have to check out the book before this summer. Thanks for posting!
