I am grown adult who happens to like Young Adult novels. No shame here, folks. And one of the YA novels I have enjoyed the most in the past 20 or so years is the Artemis Fowl series of books. So to say I am hotly anticipating the big screen adaptation of the Eoin Colfer creation is an understatement. And while I am keeping my excitement in check based on being disappointed by the film versions of YA books (looking in your general direction Percy Jackson!) the teaser trailer that was released this week has me cautiously optimistic.

The 5 Best Moments From The Glass Trailer

I was very entertained by SPLIT and was pleasantly surprised by the backdoor connection twist ending that showed it was a part of the UNBREAKABLE universe and I was ever excited by the announcement of GLASS being the third part in M. Night Shyamalan‘s trilogy about super-powered people in a “real” world. however I was also a bit cautious in my enthusiasm just because I have not fully gotten back on the Shyamalan train just yet despite really wanting to do so. But I have to admit that the trailer for GLASS removed a lot of my apprehension and has me counting the days until January gets here so I can see this movie in theaters.

The 5 Best Moments from the Halloween Trailer

The trailer for the new HALLOWEEN movie has finally arrived and I have to admit that all of my trepidation was washed away almost instantly. I was unsure of just how a new HALLOWEEN movie would be handled by Danny McBride (who I loved as Kenny Powers on EASTBOUND & DOWN but wasn’t the first name I thought of when it came to horror) but if this trailer is any indication, McBride and his partner David Gordon Green have the feel of John Carpenter’s slasher classic down and Jamie Lee Curtis is coming back loaded for bear.
