Six astronauts aboard the space station study a sample collected from Mars that could provide evidence for extraterrestrial life on the Red Planet. The crew determines that the sample contains a large, single-celled organism – the first example of life beyond Earth. But things aren’t always what they seem. As the crew begins to conduct research, and their methods end up having unintended consequences, the life form proves more intelligent than anyone ever expected. – Source
I wasn’t sure what to expect from this movie based on the one teaser I had previously seen for it but this new trailer shows a lot more footage and basically reveals that LIFE is “a more grounded version of ALIEN based in present times”.
We also get a few good looks at the creature that the crew has to deal with and its looking like some sort of tentacle monster (which brings back memories of an older more low-budget ALIEN knock-off film, LEVIATHAN…one of my favorite bad movies) that is intelligent and decidedly hostile.
This new trailer has me a lot more interested in this movie than I was when I assumed it was just Ryan Reynolds and Jake Gyllenhall doing the male version of GRAVITYhttp://www.imdb.com/title/tt1454468/?ref_=nv_sr_1.
