5. Played Gus’ dad on PSYCH
I love PSYCH. For the uninitiated, PSYCH follows the adventures of a fake psychic (Shawn) and his best friend since childhood (Gus) who assist the San Diego Police Department with solving cases. It is THE MENTALIST except it doesn’t suck and is 100% funnier.
Anyway, Gus has had two of the coolest actors ever playing his dad (opposite the flawless Phylicia “Claire Huxtable” Rashad as his mom), Ernie Hudson and Keith David. And for his rope-a-dope in this scene alone I will always hold Mr. David in high regard:

He was also the voice of Al Simmons/Spawn in the animated series based on the Todd McFarlane comic book.
