After a very badly executed foray into generic space adventuring (THE CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK was just awful)  it looks like Vin Diesel is taking his character of Riddick back to his roots…namely fighting for his life on a planet full of man-eating alien monsters. I am a huge fan of PITCH BLACK and consider it to be the best thing Vin Diesel has ever done (sorry FAST AND FURIOUS fans) so this sequel that looks to be a bit of a flip side (Riddick is on a planet that is really sunny instead of dark) to the original film and I am giddy with anticipation especially after seeing this cool teaser trailer.
