The latest in the long line of Young Adult books to hopefully) become a movie franchise to fill the vacuum of the TWILIGHT films is based on the first book in THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS series and I have to admit to being interested in this. Aside from a much better premise than a toxic relationship between a self-absorbed emo girl and a creepy emo vampire, this movie stars a bunch of actors I really like (Lena Headey, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Turner, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, CCH Pounder) to provide well-acted support to Lily Collins’ eyebrows.
