CBS is going to run an adaptation of the 2009 Stephen King novel that details the happenings in the small town of Chester’s Mill after the entire town gets encased in an impenetrable, invisible dome.
I absolutely loved UNDER THE DOME, it was the last physical book I read before becoming a digital reader and I still have fond memories of working my way through the massive tale and I am really hoping that the TV show doesn’t disappoint.
My hopes are high for it though based on the little video snippets and teasers that have been released over the past few weeks. like this one:
More goodies and info are at the show’s Facebook page.

I didn’t know they were making a tv show, it looks to be pretty good. I should read the book first though 🙂

Absolutely in for this, given that they’re not trying to compress the what, 900 pages or so into a two-hour overview. Definitely be interesting to see how the visual effects work out, because there was some cool imagery in the book.

I read that if the summer run does decent numbers and the show gets picked up that it will diverge from the book quite a bit.
