It’s the 20th anniversary of BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER the TV show and with that in mind I got to thinking about listsicle after listicle I could write like I was a Buzzfeed staffer. And lo and behold, my first list is about the most controversial aspect of Buffy fandom: which of her leading men was the best guy for our Slayer.

So I did a “The Best Looking Fall TV Shows” post the other day so it only makes sense that I do a post for which shows look pretty terrible from their trailer/preview clips. Now this doesn’t mean that these show will actually be bad because in previous years a couple of the shows that I thought looked pretty awful ended up securing spots on my weekly DVR list. That doesn’t change the fact that as afar as first impressions go these shows are not putting their best foot forward.

The fall TV season is almost upon us and as a result the networks are revealing more and more of their line-ups so I figured I would take a gander at some of the trailers being put out for public consumption and see which ones hook me based on their 2 to 5 minutes of video. In the long run I may end up hating all of these shows but for right now these are the best looking shows based on just trailers.
It has been 2 years since the last time I wrote about my hate-watching habit and try as I might I still can’t seem to get this monkey off my back. Sure most of the shows I was hate-watching have mercifully gone to the TV show graveyard in the sky yet other shows have popped up to fill that hole in my soul that only a good hate-watch can satisfy.
