So I did a “The Best Looking Fall TV Shows” post the other day so it only makes sense that I do a post for which shows look pretty terrible from their trailer/preview clips. Now this doesn’t mean that these show will actually be bad because in previous years a couple of the shows that I thought looked pretty awful ended up securing spots on my weekly DVR list. That doesn’t change the fact that as afar as first impressions go these shows are not putting their best foot forward.

LETHAL WEAPON (FOX)

A Texas cop relocates to L.A. in order to start life anew; and is partnered with an LAPD detective who—due to a “minor” heart attack—must avoid stress.

Look, LETHAL WEAPON is a classic movie and the buddy cop chemistry that Mel Gibson and Danny Glover brought to the roles of Riggs and Murtagh (respectively) was amazing so it is already an uphill battle for this TV show version to try and replicate that with some guy whose name I won’t even bother to learn and Damon Wayans. And nothing in this trailer does anything to make me think otherwise because the buddy cop chemistry isn’t doing much for me at all.
