The Good:
I’ll let my zesty friend clue you in on whether there was anything good about THE HOST right after he takes a sip of his drink…take it away buddy:
whateverfierce
Yeah, I came up with nothing too.

The Bad:
Would it be too harsh to say everything is bad about this movie? Turning Invasion of The Body Snatchers into some ABC Family channel teen romance was a lame idea; having the alien invaders do nothing but strut around in snazzy white suits or drive shiny sports cars did nothing to convince me that they were a true threat; having the bulk of the movie take place in leftover sets from Land of the Lost was asinine; having Saoirse Ronan talk to herself in every other scene while using some bizarre Southern accent that dropped and returned constantly was not entertaining.

This was actually the most sc-fi scene in the whole movie

The Ugly:
These aliems were the most wishy washy invaders from another planet I have ever seen. They were somehow able to take over almost every human being on the planet yet when met with slight resistance from a couple Abercrombie & Fitch models they want to just live and let live. Buncha sissies.

I really would have preferred to watch The Host movie starring this guy

Final Verdict: This was just a dreadfully boring and awful movie that failed as sci-fi, failed as a teen romance and failed as an action movie. I am still violently angry that I wasted over 2 hours of my life watching this dreck.

    1. Definitely looking forward to the sequel. Hopefully the delays (it was originally supposed to be released last summer) aren’t a bad omen.
