Is there anything creepier in the world than Tiny Tim singing “Tiptoe Through the Tulips“? You could play that song in any movie from a romantic comedy to a kid’s animated flick and it would make my skin crawl.
But I digress…INSIDIOUS CHAPTER 2 brings us back in contact with the Lambert clan who think everything is OK after their ordeal with evil spirits in the original film. I think I am going to have to watch the original film again because the way this trailer makes it seem the events at the end of the first film that seemed so urgent and dire have become much less so since everyone moves to Grandma’s house and seem to have mellowed out for a bit until the craziness kicks up again.
I do think that in the battle of evil spirit themed horror movies being released in 2013, THE CONJURING trailer packs more scary bang for its buck than INSIDIOUS CHAPTER 2 does with this trailer.
