As part of the ongoing series of animated shorts produced for the Cartoon Network’s block of DC Nation cartoons, this exceedingly snazzy Wonder Woman clip from this past weekend proves in a scant 30 seconds that with the right idea and creators Wonder Woman can be just as cool as any of her male super-hero counterparts. And the right idea in this case is to go the Cleopatra Jones route with Wonder Woman driving an invisible muscle car and looking very stylish.

That’s damn cool — love the Invisible Car. In twenty seconds it beats the hell out of their head-lopping New 52 Lady Wolverine take.

Wondy is a bit bloodthirstier in the the New 52 (especially in Justice League) comics but I am liking her portrayal in her own book. I tend to be more into the character being shown as a warrior first and super-hero second though.
