The BBC has released images of Peter Capaldi’s outfit when he takes over the role of the Doctor and while parts of it are cool (namely the jacket which harkens back to Pertwee’s Doctor) I have to take issue with the bottom half of this ensemble.

What is with the drop crotch pants? Did The Doctor swing the TARDIS over to The Beebs’ house and steal a pair of his goofy pants while the singer was in lock-up? Don’t believe me? Then take a gander at the pic below and tell me that Capaldi and Bieber are not both shopping at the same Zumiez.
