The one character (aside from Louie the Lilac) from the old Adam West Batman show that I never thought would get an action figure was Egghead. But uneggpectedly, Figures Toy Company actually brought the Vincent Price character to toy form!
For the uninitiated, this entry from the Batman Wiki explains all you need to know about Egghead:
Egghead was a villain created for the 1960s Batman television series. The character was identifiable by his pale bald head and white and yellow suit. He believed himself to be “the world’s smartest criminal,” and his crimes would usually have an egg-motif to them as well as including egg puns in his speech where appropriate such as “egg-zactly” and “egg-cellent.” Additionally, he would use a wide assortment of egg-shaped weapons, such as laughing gas eggs and tear gas eggs (laid by chickens on a diet of onions).
How can you not love that guy? And as played by horror maestro Vincent Price, Egghead was a definite hoot.
Eggsploding radar eggs!!!!! God, I love that show so damn much.
Anyway I will be definitely be owning this figure when it comes out. I think it will look great next to my Surfin’ Batman figure.
