Hollywood goes back to the Young Adult book series well once again in hopes of scoring another blockbuster movie franchise like the execrable TWILIGHT series with this adaptation of the James Dashner dystopian trilogy of books. And I think they just may have scored a winner here. The premise is totally cool, the fact that it’s less girly than other attempts and looks to be more targeted towards the male market leads me to believe that this movie could be pretty good. It helps to have a good actor in the lead role in Dylan O’Brian who is the highlight of the MTV TEEN WOLF series. So fingers are crossed that this movie actually succeeds where so many others failed.
