Dr. Stephanie Barnett – THE BIG BANG THEORY
Dr. Barnett was a regular fixture on THE BIG BANG THEORY for a while. She started out as the object of Howard’s unwanted romantic attentions who really had eyes for Leonard. Stephanie and Leonard were hot and heavy for a while with Stephanie movie her stuff into Leonard’s room which freaked him out. Leonard made several attempts to slow down the relationship and even break up with her but those instances always resulted in sex. She was also given the Sheldon Cooper Stamp of Approval because she served the role of medical doctor which was a sorely lacking skill set among this group of friends especially if there was ever a need to form an away team. But Stephanie seems to have been wiped from the space time continuum. No one ever even mentions her when talking about Leonard’s other failed relationship yet we get Leslie Winkle, Priya and even Joyce Kim mentions pretty regularly. Sarah Rue deserved much better…she is a very appealing actress. I wouldn’t mind seeing her pop back up and maybe go out on a date with Raj.

Like Tracy in Coronation Street who vanish to her room to listen to ‘tapes’ a child and emerged years later a teenageer\woman.

A similar thing sort of happened on US soap opera All My Children where Bobby Martin went upstairs to get his skis and was never heard from again.
