Kristian Ayre – Radu

Being from Andromeda, Radu had large circular ears that gave him hyper hearing and an increased molecular density that made him durable and super-strong. Radu was a bit withdrawn, being from a former enemy race and because of his father dying in the war, Harlan initially had great animosity towards Radu but the two of them grew to become friends over time. Like Harlan, Radu was also attracted to Suzee which would have most likely resulted in complication for the two teens of the show had stayed on the air.

After SPACE CASES ended, Kristian Ayre appeared on the children’s series THE NEW GHOSTWRITER MYSTERIES (a spin-off of the GHOSTWRITER series from PBS) and after that series was cancelled Ayre proceeded to make appearances on many Canadian TV shows and films. He also appeared as Foom Foom in the 2003 Will Ferrell comedy ELF. Ayre has also done a lot of voice acting in Anime like SHAKUGAN NO SHANA and INUYASHA. Ayre gave up acting in 2008 to go to McGill University and he is now the Senior Marketing Manager at a Canadian based shoe and accessory company.
