Jewel Staite – Catalina
Catalina was headstrong and brilliant engineering genius from the planet Titan. She possessed a sonic scream and a technicolor head of hair. She also had an imaginary friend named Suzee that only she could see. At the end of Season One Catalina was caught in an explosion that had her friends assuming she was dead but in reality she had switched places with Suzee and was now in another dimension.
After leaving SPACE CASES at the end of season 1, Jewel Staite went on to co-star (with a young Ben Foster) in the Disney Channel sitcom FLASH FORWARD and is probably best known for her role as Kaylee on the short-lived but beloved Joss Whedon show FIREFLY (and the big screen movie SERENITY). After Firefly has appeared as a cast member on many TV shows like WONDERFALLS, STARGATE: ATLANTIS, and THE L.A. COMPLEX. Her most recent gig is as Assistant D.A. Caroline Swift on AMC’s THE KILLING.

I’m glad someone else enjoyed this show. Whenever I talk about the old Nick shows, I feel like I’m the only one that remembers this one. Totally loved Radu! And this show introduced me to the world of fanfiction.
