Mentally unstable millionaire John DuPont became obsessed with sponsoring the Schultz brothers (Dave and Mark) in their bids to wrestle in the Olympics. DuPont had a psychotic break when he shot and killed Dave and proceeded to have a two stand-off with police. This story was big news in my area of Southeastern PA because of how big a deal the DuPont family is in Delaware.
A lot of rumors have circulated about the relationship the Schultz brothers had with DuPont and how he became more and more obsessive in his dealings with them.
Just from the trailer I am really interested in seeing the performances by Channing Tatum and Steve Carell. Both guys have gotten good reviews from people who saw screenings of the film in Cannes and it is such a departure for both guys to be in a movie that is this intense.
