Despite the trailer for this movie looking like something born from a drunken one night stand between Stephen Sommers and Paul.W.S. Anderson, I do admit to being more than a little intrigued. Using Bram Stoker’s Dracula novel mixed with some of the historical details of Stoker’s inspiration Vlad Tepes sounds like a pretty nifty premise for a movie. And I have grown to become a fan of Luke Evans as an actor so hopefully this will end up being more on the 1992 Francis Ford Coppola DRACULA film end of the quality scale instead of at the low end with VAN HELSING.
Also that Lorde cover of Tears For Fears’ “Everybody Wants To Rule the World” that plays in the trailer is really cool.
