Where Is The Cast of A Nightmare On Elm Street Now?

This month is the 30th anniversary of the release of the horror classic A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET and I got to wondering where has life taken the actors from that seminal entry in the annals of horror? Well aside from a certain someone who went on to become one of the biggest movie stars in the world that is. That Lynn Shay is all the rage.

Robert Englund (Freddy Kreuger)

England portrayed Freddy Krueger, the razor handed “bastard son of 1000 maniacs” who was killing the kids of Elm Street in their dreams.

Englund went on to wear the Krueger make-up in 7 more movies and even a spin-off TV show. He has since worked steadily in film and TV doing a good deal of work in the horror genre. He is also a mainstay at genre conventions all over the country. Most recently, Englund is starring in the 2014 horror movie THE LAST SHOWING which is available on Blu-Ray and DVD as well as OnDemand.

Dude, Saxon looks seriously pissed off in his ‘today’ photo.

He really does, doesn’t he. I bet he scared off quite a few convention goers with that angry face he was rocking that day.

That is not a “Sure, I’ll sign an autograph and take a picture with you” expression; that is a “You damn kids get the hell out of my yard!!” expression.
