Nick Corri/Jsu Garcia (Rod)

Nick Corri played Tina’s “bad boy” boyfriend, Rod, who ended up getting hanged in his jail cell by Freddy in the original film.

After NIGHTMARE, Corri went back to using his birth name of Jsu Garcia and continued his acting career. He has found steady work in TV and movies in notable projects like CHE (the Steven Soderbergh directed biopic of Ernesto “Che” Guevara) and a recurring stint on the CBS drama WITHOUT A TRACE. Garcia also appeared as himself in NEW NIGHTMARE alongside Heather Langenkamp.
Garcia also entered into a partnership with John-Roger, author and founder of the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness, creating a production company that produced a feature film on the movement titled SPIRITUAL WARRIORS that Garcia starred in and co-wrote. Garcia also serves as an ordained minister in the MSIA.
