Lin Shaye’s intrepid medium, Elise Rainier is my hands down favorite character in the INSIDIOUS franchise so I am quite pleased that the latest installment of this fright fest is a prequel which allows Elise to be a prime player despite the fate that befell her in the earlier films. It also doesn’t hurt that this movie looks to have ratcheted up the creepy scare factor to 1000. From the trailer this movie looks to be far more action-packed than either of the other films were and I can’t wait to see a clairvoyant mee-maw kick some evil spirit butt.
