Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 11% (Critics) / 32% (Audience)
MetaScore: 22 – Generally Unfavorable Reviews
Directed By: Oliver Irving
Written By: Peter Warren
Starring: Jon Heder, David Krumholtz, Justin Long and Amy Sedaris
Studio: Tandem Pictures

The Good:
GHOST TEAM has a really killer cast (with Amy Sedaris being a standout as a shifty medium) and there is a bit of charm in the way this movie plays out like a live-action Scooby Doo episode.

The Bad:
Unfortunately GHOST TEAM wastes its cast and the little bit of charm that could be squeezed out of its premise. Attempts are made to try and make a horror/comedy but the horror parts are not scary and the comedy parts are not all that funny.

The Ugly:
The one bright spot in the film is Amy Sedaris as questionable psychic Victoria but she is absent from the film for almost the entire middle portion which leaves the audience with the far less interesting characters for way too long.

Final Verdict: GHOST TEAM fails to make good use of its assembled cast while failing to provide anything close to scary and bombing on the funny side more often than not. Amy Sedaris is a tiny bright spot but she’s not enough to save this film.

Grade: D-
