Ever wondered what major league badass super-villain Thanos (and the soon to be ultimate big bad in the Marvel Universe live action movies) would look like if he was a chick? Nope, me neither but one enterprising cosplayer did and as a result we got a pretty snazzy Lady Thanos. Click the cut to see her in all her glory.

I figure this week’s Rule 63 cosplay is fitting what with the release of the new STAR TREK movie. So after the cut take a gander at blogger Dezi Desire as she does one helluva awesome bit of cosplaying.

If the real Punisher looked anything like the young lady in this week’s Rule 63 I think crime would skyrocket just because the criminals would all want to run into her in a dark alley.

Know Your Meme defines Rule 63 as:
an internet adage which states that for every fictional character, there exists a counterpart of opposite gender.
And this is never done more creatively than in the realm of cosplay. If you have ever been to a comic, sci-fi, anime, or (any type of) genre convention you will have seen gender swapped versions of all types of characters from a female Batman to a male Storm to even Lady Doctor Who.
