December 14th was Monkey Day (who knew, right?), the “annual celebration of all things simian” and two things ran through my mind when I realized this day existed: How the hell did I not know about this before now? And that there are quite a few simians in pop culture that hold a spot in my heart. So with that in mind click onward for my list of favorite pop culture simians!
Why has it taken so long for somebody to do a mashup of everyone’s favorite serial killer and my own personal favorite boy genius? The fine folks over at Screenjunkies realized the vacuum in pop culture that this was and filled it by creating this amalgamation of Showtime’s Dexter and Cartoon Network’s Dexter’s Laboratory complete with a Deb/Dee Dee hybrid of annoyance.
