If there is one thing Jason Voorhees loves almost more than killing everyone he meets it is the ladies. The proof is in the pudding, folks! Jason loves to spend as much time as possible with members of the fairer sex. Sure he gets all stabby and hacky with them but no one is perfect. With that in mind I have put together this list of the best Final Girls to ever come up against Jason and live to tell the tale.

Friday the 13th Week: All of the Black Characters Killed By Jason Voorhees

Another Friday the 13th is upon us and as luck has it this one falls within the month of February which is also Black History Month. So in honor of the stars aligning these two auspicious occasions together I decided to put together a super-cut of all of the fine young (and some not so young) black actors to have the honor of a gruesome onscreen death at the hands of Pamela Voorhees’ overly exuberant bouncing baby boy.

R.I.P. Betsy Palmer

Sad news for horror fans everywhere with the news today that Betsy Palmer passed away over the weekend. Palmer is most well known as the original Pamela Voorhies in the very first FRIDAY THE 13th movie but she had a long career on stage and screen that spanned six decades.
