This is an amazing looking film just from the teaser and it is especially impressive considering that the production company (The Bandito Brothers; the company behind the surprise hit ACTS OF VALOR) only spent around $40 million on it. The concept is cool too: a rogue android is being hunted by the government that built it. The movie should be released some time in 2013

This time, no one is safe from the flesh eating fish as they sink their razor sharp teeth into the visitors of summer’s best attraction, The Big Wet Water Park. Christopher Lloyd reprises his role as the eccentric piranha expert with survivor Paul Scheer and a partially devoured Ving Rhames back for more fish frenzy. David Hasselhoff trades in the sandy beaches of “Baywatch” to be a celebrity lifeguard at the racy water park. Hell hath no fury like a woman scored — and her father — in this tense tale of terror from Australia. Brent (Xavier Samuel) is driving home late one night with his father when he swerves after seeing something in the road. The car spins out of control, and moments later Brent’s dad is dead. Brent is wracked with guilt over the incident, and sinks into a deep depression, only beginning to sort out his feelings when he begins dating one of his classmates, a pretty and nurturing girl named Holly (Victoria Thaine). However, another young woman at school, Lola (Robin McLeavy), has taken an interest in Brent, going so far as to ask him to escort her to an upcoming dance. Loyal Brent turns Lola down, but he learns the hard way she doesn’t handle disappointment well. Lola and her wealthy father (John Brumpton) force Brent to attend a private party at a cottage in the woods, where he’s the only guest and Lola and her dad mete out brutal punishment for daring to hurt her feelings. – Rotten Tomatoes

In “Area 407,” innocent people with family and friends waiting for them boarded a state of the art jet liner piloted by an experienced crew. They had every reason to believe the pilots could safely navigate a storm and negotiate turbulence without crashing the plane to the Earth from 30,000 feet. They trusted them. They were wrong. The small group that survived, some critically wounded, had every reason to believe that help was on the way. After all, technology was their savior. Again, they were wrong. They were wrong because the very people they trusted to protect and rescue them are the very same people who created the hell in which they now find themselves. – ComingSoon.net
