It is when I see cosplay like this that I feel pride in geekdom as a whole. Nobody would think to dress up as Ricardo Montalban’s Khan from STAR TREK II: THE WRATH OF KHAN nowadays (especially not with Benedict Cumberbatch’s version of the character being so fresh on the mind) and to gender swap it is even cooler. Plus this young lady’s costume came with an ear slug. Bonus points for that.

Now Everyone Can Have Ricardo Montalban’s Chest From Wrath of Khan

There has been much speculating over the years about whether Ricardo Montalban’s inexplicably chiseled chest in STAR TREK: THE WRATH OF KHAN was the result of hard work in the weight room or movie magic. Mr. Montalban himself has said that man-cleavage was 100% Montalbandian genetics so I tend to believe him. But for those of us not blessed with Ricardo’s genetics or our own wish fulfilling island resort can now get the Khan Chest without having to put down our Suzy Q’s or pick up one dumbbell.
