01 – LET’S GET SERIOUS by Jermaine Jackson

This is my favorite song by anyone who was ever sprung from the prolific loins of Joseph Jackson. It is right up there with anything from Michael’s Off the Wall and Thriller albums and should have been the catapult used to launch Jermaine to superstardom. Instead it was the highlight of Jermaine’s middling solo career and instead of being a legend as a solo artist Jermaine is now appearing on any reality show that will have him and desperately trying to profit off of Michael’s corpse in between his gigs as a California Raisin. But all that mishegoss really does not matter when compared to this little gem of musical perfection that is given the cherry on top by having Stevie Wonder as an uncredited guest vocalist.
