The 10 Best Token Black Guys in Movie History

10. THE EXPENDABLES – Hale Caesar (Terry Crews)

When Sly Stallone was digging through the mothballs looking for aging action stars, retired wrestlers and has been MMA fighters, I’m assuming he lost Carl Weathers’ phone number and had to go with Terry Crews as an acceptable Weathers substitute. Terry was serviceable and he got to shoot people with a freakishly large gun while cracking wise and that’s pretty much all you can ask for out of the token black guy in an action movie.

  1. There have been token Black Guys Since the History of Movies..But some of these guys are not just tokens.,They only hang around White’s off the set. I’m saying you don’t see alot of them at any Black function.like the soul Train awards or any affair given by Black Ent…

  3. I disagree with the following with explanation: Al from Die Hard. Really?! He is not the token black guy when there are other black guys that played in that movie(remember the computer guy for Han’s team, or the driver for McClane or Little Johnson(FBI)? So no on Al, who was a great guy in that movie. One consideration, Tyreese’s part in those bad Transoformer movies, Billy Dee in Tim Burton’s Batman(DA Dent). Actually anything Billy Dee was in w/o Diana Ross or James Earl Jones.
