THE WHISPERS (ABC)

Aliens have invaded Earth by using our most unlikely resource to achieve world domination—our children. As the kids unwittingly help these unseen enemies, the clock counts down in this suspenseful race to save humanity.

Now this show looks positively amazing. It is probably the creepiest trailer for a TV show I have seen in a while. It also looks more like a trailer for a big screen feature length film than a weekly TV series. Aliens masquerading as imaginary friends and using children to commit murders as part of their quest to take over the world is just unsettling. Plus I am always interested in projects that feature Lily Rabe. I am worried about how long ABC will give this show to find an audience (I am still miffed with how fast the network cancelled the seriously underrated INVASION a few years back) but I will be watching for however long it lasts.
