The Best Looking New Fall TV Shows

WAYWARD PINES (FOX)

Imagine the perfect American town… beautiful homes, manicured lawns, children playing safely in the streets. Now imagine never being able to leave. You have no communication with the outside world. You think you’re going insane. You must be in Wayward Pines.
Based on the best-selling novel “Pines” by Blake Crouch and brought to life by suspenseful storyteller M. Night Shyamalan (“The Sixth Sense,” “Signs”), WAYWARD PINES is the intense new mind-bending 10-episode event thriller evocative of the classic hit “Twin Peaks.”

A show from the mind of M Night Shyamalan that is a mix of TWIN PEAKS and THE PRISONER with a cast that is stellar to say the least? I am there! While I am aware of Shyamalan’s shortcomings, I haven’t completely jumped of the M Night train. The guy is very good at coming up with interesting ideas so I am optimistic that WAYWARD PINES will be more SIXTH SENSE than THE HAPPENING.

    1. Rabe is great and the show looks like it will be really good. And considering ABC gave that Resurrection show a second season has me optimistic that they’ll give The Whispers a decent shot.
