Season 4 Is One Of My Favorite Seasons
Aside from the bumpy ride of the first few episodes where Buffy drank magic beer and dated a scumbag, Season 4 is one of my favorite seasons of this show. I liked the Initiative (would have liked to see it stretched out for more than one season actually), I liked Adam as The Big Bad, and it introduced Riley and Tara to the show which are good things as far as I am concerned. This season also gave us great episodes like ‘Hush”, “Something Blue”, The Yoko Factor” and “Restless”. It also gave us the body switch between Buffy and Faith that gave Sarah Michelle Gellar a chance to show off her spot on impression of Eliza Dushku as Faith. The naysayers can kick rocks, Season 4 was good TV.

So much better. The whole good guy/Buffy’s puppy dog stuff ruined the character.
Somehow having him play the hero role on Angel didn’t come off bad at all though.

Oh yeah he was better in angel. I think it was the rivalry and clashing of heads between angel and Spike that gave them both more material to work with.
