Favorite New Who Alien(s): The Ood

The Ood are a (normally) peaceful race of hive-minded aliens who are so peaceful that they sometimes are enslaved by more cruel races. The Ood have had several run-ins with the Doctor and in most of them they have been allies. The one time they were on the wrong side of The Doctor was when they were possessed by The Beast of The Pit and to their credit these usually docile fellas were pretty scary. The Ood also have telepathic abilities which have been useful in foretelling key moments in The Doctor’s life. They are also one of the absolute coolest/grossest looking alien creature designs this show has ever done.
